| Welcome to the Department of Planning, Growth and School
Capacity. Our mission is to provide quality planning and
management services to facilitate efficient and effective use of
school facilities. The department is responsible for
district-wide enrollment projections, identification and
procurement of Real Estate for new schools and the management of
school enrollments. We work closely with the departments of
Construction & Facilities, Budget, Exceptional Student Education
and Student Assignment in these efforts.
Lee County is one of the fastest growing areas in the United
States; therefore, accommodating an ever increasing student
population is a significant challenge. |
